Identify your Swimmer category

Half Lap Swimmer

Supported & untimed event

A senior swimmer is in each lane supporting your child make it to the half way point (12.5 metres) and back.

 

This event is aimed at our littlest swimmers or those not yet confident to do a full 25 metre lap independently.

 

This event is the first of the each Friday night at 6:15pm. 

Full Lap Swimmer - 25/50/100m

Independent & timed events

From our beginner to our experienced race swimmers, the 25, 50 & 100 metre races cater for a wide range of swimmer ages & experience (& speed!).

Everyone starts their swim club journey doing 25m until they have passed a qualifying time for each stroke to be able to swim the 50m events - listen for that celebratory bell to ring!!​

 

Dive from the blocks or start in the water - the choice is yours.

Arrive & Pay Entry Fee
5:45-6pm

  • Entry is $2 per family each week

Assemble at the Shallow End
6:15pm

  • Cap & Goggles on

  • Await referee instruction

Ready to Race

  • Support your child into the water and remind them to wait for the referees whistle

  • Introduce them to the Senior Swimmer - this can calm the nerves

Cheer!

  • Take photos

  • Be at the Shallow End to welcome them back!

Home, Stay or Eat!

  • Time to head home

  • Stay for BBQ Dinner

  • Watch the Full Lap races

Pay Season
Registration Fee

  • Registration is via Flexischools

  • Not sure?  Swim at 1 Club Night before you pay this fee

Submit Race Nomination
By 5pm each Club Night

  • Tell us what races you are swimming in before the night

  • Registration closes at 5pm each Club Night

  • Link to registration easily found in Facebook posts

Warm Up

  • 6 - 6:15pm

  • Await instruction from Referee

Await your Race at the Marshalling Area

  • Keep your eyes and ears peeled to ensure you are at the Marshalling Area (behind the Blocks) in time to race

  • Order of Events and detailed Program can be viewed near the Computer Desk

Race!!

  • Race against YOUR time

  • Have Fun!

  • Look out for the Facebook post to let you know when the race results have been posted onto the Website to see your race time
